Pics from the display, in no particular order or anything. Bikes were scattered throughout the whole museum, with many other old and interesting things....

Image
I do my share (or more) of Harley Bashing, but it's all in fun, get over your bloody bikes, already. Anyways.... I have always liked these XLCR's.... even with the AMF-related issues, I want one.

Image
X-75 Hurricane.... yes please, just park it next to my XLCR...

Image
An original Rocket 3.... I see I should have partaken of some 'nerve tonic' to control my shaking before I went in.......

Image
I stop at every abondoned barn and farm-stead I find in the faint hope of finding something like this buried someplace....

Image
Or this.....

Image
It's no New Red Monster, but it's a nice old Duc anyway.....

Image
A very cool '27 Flying Squirrel...

Image
Read what the tread on this old car spells out.... confidence inspiring or what?

Image
Beautiful '26 Excelsior Super X..... put that one beside my Hurricane.

Image
A groovy Guzzi Jackal

Image
Nice black AJS.....

Image
Nice racing version of a black AJS....

nice buzz. thanks for the photo preview.

the XR dirt tracker is very cool, and the that Scott Flying Squirrel! I've seen one of those here in town when a collector had just picked it up and dropped by for a brief visit. his was purple i think. it was a long time ago, and being an RZ nut, when he told me all about the Squirrel i was blown away that 1923 or whatever they had such an awesome bike (liquid cooled two-stroke... etc...)

i'll make few trips to the museum over the run of the show.. maybe i'll find time in a month or two.

Thanks, BuzZz!

Loved the KZ... looks like a primo example!

The BSA Rocket-3 brings back memories of the one I had back around '73-'74. Mine was a year or two newer than the red one in the pic. It came with gold paint and tailpipes that didn't immediately bring Flash Gordon to mind. Belive it or not, the thing was a blast to ride in the twisties, even on Dunlop K-81 rubber! After you got it rolling it felt like a much smaller bike. The Brits really had the market cornered on suspension technology back then.

Nice one BuzZz! Thanks for the Post, It's awesome to actually SEE the Show through some of your cool Pix! (Except the first few, blurry ones, that must have been before the Drinks :P )

I really like the Honda SL 100 & the Z900 Kwaka, what great condition....really brought back nostalgic Memories....

It's great to see your having a Blast on your new FJ, keep up the great stories for au all to enjoy.

I sure do wish I could join you all in some of those cool bike shows!

While I can't deny the odd shaking fit, the blurry pictures were actually because I was useing the wrong settings on the camera. I need Mike the Photog to show at one of these things, so I can follow him around and steal his techniques and settings......
