Hello to everyone. I just got my first street bike a brand new V Star 650 Custom. I bought it on Saturday and it will be delivered on Wednesday. I have been prowling around on this website for a week or two. :)

This is the first motorcycle I have owned that was not a dirt bike. I can't wait to start riding. I plan on signing up for the MSF course as soon as a get a chance. (I have been working six day weeks.) So as soon as my schedule clears up I plan on taking a weekend class. Until then I plan on riding in our neighborhood where there is no traffic.

Hope to make some friends to ride with here in KC once I get some practice under my belt. Anyhow thank for reading. :D

Welcome to the site and congrats on your purchase. Blues is correct when she said you made a good buy on the VStar. She should know, considering the distance she's travelled on hers.

PS: Try just showing up at an MSF class, sometimes there are cancellations and first come first serve is the rule of the day...
