Hey all! honda 250 it's my 1st bike and I can't get my helmet holder unlocked! My 2nd helmet is on it right now so that sucks! I can't have any passengers on it till I get rid of it cause it's right on the right rear footpeg. Any ideas? Or has this happened to anybody else? I had a mechanic but I don't wanna go back he was a rip off. Someone help!

Is the lock stock?
There are a couple of things you can try. If you can get it in your area, PB Blaster comes in a spray can like WD 40. That helps get rusted parts unstuck. Spray some on and let it sit. You can spray it inside the lock too. Keep working at it and spraying it and letting it sit till it starts to free up. Don't break the key off in the lock if it's stuck.

Do you need to keep the helmet lock? If not... hacksaw!
