My dad, a friend and i are trying to remove the front sprocket on a 650r but the nut isn't coming off, alread tried a breaker bar and and a 250psi gun wont budge

I read they were tough to get off but damn. Any got any advice? We're going to go try to add a cheater bar then we're giving up. Is there a specific reason they put these on so tight?

PB Blaster or WD-40? Lemme check the FSM if there's a trick to it, I'll get back in a bit.

The nut should be torqued down to about 92 ft-lbs of tq. So it's probably on there tighter than that from the factory. Oh, and make sure the speed sensor and bracket are out of there too. And that washer behind the nut, you'll need to flatten that out a bit.

Yep we had all of that done. It just needed a little muscle(4ft cheater bar

) WD40 didn't do anything it was on nearly airtight. A little heat a wedge in the chain a a lot of pressure popped it right off. Only took an hour and a half.
