Anyone seen this bike online yet? This is being billed as the H-D Rocker C. Not sure I like it two-up, but a solo would be hot!

I just read "The Rocker C features a "trick" seat that conceals a passenger pillion under a solo cushion." hmmm...

Trick or treat...

The pillion must fold forward and fit under the seat. Seems uncomfortable for the passenger.

Found another pic... Not sure how that "trick" seat works.

But here's to another hot bike from HD!

I'm fairly certain that the second picture shows a different seat assembly that is solo-only. In the top picture it appears that the seat assembly incorporates two hinges; one at the nose of the front seat, and another in the middle of the pillion seat bracket. To hide the pillion seat, one would lift the front seat, then fold the rear seat forward until it rested in the empty space under the front seat. The front seat could then be lowered, hiding the pillion seat. The bracket would still be visible where it bolts to the frame, and the hinge might be visible at the rear of the seat if no shroud is incorporated.

If you go to the Harley site, the first image that shows up is the Rocker C with the passenger seat stowed.

Looks pretty damn sharp. Certainly bold for a stock bike, and it sure as heck looks like a hardtail custom bike.

I wouldn't like to own one, as it doesn't look overly comfortable or practical, but it's pretty freakin cool.

Wow, look at that fork angle...

Not my taste, either. But it's a sharp looking bike.

How much do all of those custom bikes I see go for?

I can imagine that the appeal of a much more comfortable, Harley-branded bike with the same looks and appeal but a lower price tag would do pretty well.

It's not going to be the next Fat Boy or anything, but I bet it will sell a few.

there's a video on the harley site showing the operation of the seat - unfortunately it can't be linked to directly (at least not that i've found)...

from the harley site, go to the 2008 motorcycles
select the rocker c - fxcwc
select features & specs from the menu on the left
select ride from the features at the bottom middle
hover over the blinking plus sign over the seat and select learn more
select which video you want to watch...

personally, i would prefer the bike with just the solo seat - passenger pillion looks a little too uncomfortable...
