hello to all: i am in my very early 60s/retired and just now anxious to start a motorcycling hobby. No bike yet--am searching..i live in boston, mass region--i want to find a good "learner beginner" bike for less than $1500 or so--something safe,reliable, easy to drive and etc to learn the art of motorcycling.....my height= n5'8"/200 lbs/in-seam is 29"(short legs).
am going to enroll in msf course but wld appreciate any helpful advise: re- good "starter" bikes for someone my size.
I looked at two hondamatics: both 1982 vintage/both less than 6500 miles...prices= about $100 ..one has no title..the other had quite a bit of frame rust and dry rotted tires...both started easily with no smoking/unusual noises or evidence of leaks.
probably neither is a good choice for me??
