used bikes...?

#1 Unread post by project101 »

:waves: hey folks. i just wanted to show up and say hi. i just got my permit from the DMV this morning, and later today i was planning to go browse through some bikes at the dealer. my question is what are some key points when you're looking at used bikes or bikes in general? basically things that would let me figure out if the bike is a lemon or not. any tips or suggestion is greatly appreciated. thanks...
If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88 mph, you're gonna see some serious sh*t!

check chain, lube, brakes front/ back, lights, seals, leaks, cables all that......make sure you know you can handle the wait, some bikes are way heavier than they look, dont be intimidated...good idea , take along a friend that rides a bike very helpful.....
my therapist has two wheels, a throttle, and always has time or me...
