The Mrs & I are approaching an anniversary & had been saving up $$$. We decided to go ahead and look for a shared gift.... Well... we purchased a used 2007 Suzuki S50 with 2000 miles. Had it delivered today, no way was I gonna drive it 10miles home on the highway (I'm a newbie at this).

Since we both took the MSF-BRC course last year, we will be spending alot of time/miles doing the 1/2 mile circle thru the neighborhood. The circle has 5 stop signs, which I counted for the first time on tonights ride. I put 6 miles on it tonight going around and around.

Anyways, here are the pics....

14th, 15th or 16th... Not sure.... We were married like 3 times or something(1st: Internet wedding, 2nd: Was drunk & a friend officiated(an internet priest), so not sure if we actually got married that time & 3rd: Church/legal wedding) .

Riding tonight, I noticed that the brakes squeeked and it ran a bit rough at first.

'07 S50 = carbureted bike (unlike C50 or M50). Gotta warm up at first with a little choke, even in hot weather. Wife & I used to have an '04 Marauder, exact same engine and carbs. Same issue. 5-10 minutes of running, it would be fine.

Happy anniversary and congrats on your purchase. Pretty bike.

nniiiccceee. I wish I could get a new bike but alas that looks like 9-10 years from now before that happens. hope my current bike will last that long (will make my current bike 20ish years old by then lol).

Don't think of it like that. Think of it as the cool bikes you want today are getting more affordable every day you wait to buy one. Until then you get to ride your old friend. :)

hmm good point. I also look at it as its that much longer before my wife will be able to ride on her own :D. I would say before she can get her endorsment but I cant say that cause well she may want to get it this summer.
