1999 VT 1100 Shadow Aero one the spedo drive cuts out every now and then there is never any pattern to it. Plus the bike cuts out at high rpms. It cuts out then comes back on every second untill the rpms are brought down. I just fixed the starter botton because you havd to move it around to get it to start, but all that did is fix the starter botton prob. Any one have any advice?

This sounds like a variable reluctance sensor of some type. My guess is crank sensor or cam sensor. If you find one, you can test with a voltmeter, but a labscope would be a better solution if you could find a friend with one. you should get a nice sine wave when cranking.
Any bike gurus know where they are?
