I was in Junior high, maybe 12-13 and was always at my friends place tearing around on dirtbikes.

hmm, 34................ummm, only a few weeks ago to be honest.
i was on the back of a dirtbike when i was 16 and rode a honda spree when i was a teen but i dont count that. ha

I got my first bike the day I turned 21.

I think I had it a bit easier than some though, as I'd done a lot of things when younger that likely helped out.

I've driven manual cars, so I understand how a clutch/manual transmission works, and I was a 'stunt rider' on regular bicycles, so I understood about balance and countersteering very well (think more along the lines of something you'd see in a Circus, not a BMX competition).

First rode when I was 5. Got my own first bike at 7. 36 years on, still looking to get my first cruiser, my first Ducati, my first V-twin, my first.......I'm going to run out of 'me' before I run out of 'firsts' to get.....

Unlike the rest of you, I'm a late bloomer. I just started last fall at 53. Midlife crisis?.....preventing a midlife crisis?.....Doesn't matter....it was the best thing I could have ever done for myself.

I've been riding dirtbikes since I was like 11 or so, I won't ride my first street bike on the street untill I get my license next month

friend at school got a 1980 GS550E and i learned on that last year, at the good old age of 20.
