Bike Ramps

Where is a good place to buy a bike ramp? (The ones you drive/walk the bike up in the bed of the truck)? I don't need anything fancy, I don't need to drive the bike up. I found a few but they were $300 +, looking for something a little cheaper or might go to Home Depot or Lowes to see if they have lawn mower ramps lol. Any help is appreciated. I have a 2001 Honda Rebel 250, just want them for when I go down to the shore to put it in the bed and bring down!

Did you check the Pepboys Auto near you?

Most folks just use a length of 2x10.

You back the truck up to a hill, so the ramp is as gently sloped as possible, then walk the bike up.

You might be able to RENT ramps from a Uhaul place.

I have part of a 4'x8' 3/4" thick piece of plywood (probably closer to 3'x6', but I'm not sure) that I've put about 20 screws through into 2 2x10 for bracing that I've used for a ramp. I've used it to load a 1982 Yamaha XJ650, 1978 KZ750, and a 1999 Honda Nighthawk 750. All of these where with my fat *ss and another person pushing the bikes up into the bed of my 2004 Dodge Ram that has a pretty high bed height. I tried it once without the 2x10 bracings with a 1979 Yamaha XS650 and that didn't work to well. The plywood bowed too much and then shot out from underneath the bike when it was only about half off. I now have a lot of scratches and a hefty dent in my newly (the day before this adventure) painted tailgate. Kinda sucked considering it took me about 3 weeks to get my tailgate right after I was rear ended earlier this year.
