Hello Everybody
I am 13 yrs old and I inherited a Yamaha 80cc motorcycle from my Grampa. I was told it was from the sixties but not sure. My Dad thinks it might be a 1964. It has autolube and I think that was the year autolube was introduced. The bike runs great but I would really like to restore it. The only numbers I could find on it is YHA-4 on the headlight assembly and Y20-838803 on the frame and G7-838803 on the motor. Could anybody help me figuring out the year and where I might find more information on it? I would be forever thankful for any help.

Thanks

Unlike Harley, Yamaha's manuals do not have a break of ser. #s Sounds like something in the GI Series (YG1,YG1-K,YGS1,MG1T) Post some pics and ID will be a lot easier. Also try 3s that you do have (have dealer do a reverse look up) My first bike was a 66 YG1 that I got in 71. Still have it.
