I was called up to provide a Motorcycle at the local Fair the other day....so my Mate & I went along to take young kiddies for a little ride & intro them to the wonderful world of Motorcycling. Seems like the Ponies failed to turn up again this year so we were elected for the first time ever in the life of this event. Other attractions were Face painting & a Bouncy Castle thingie as well as Ballet & Gymnastic demonstrations.

The Kids had an absolute Ball & the line for the bike ride seemed to go on forever!

Although we didn't get out of 2nd gear, It was a perfect day with just enough wind blowing to keep the air-cooled motor from overheating, because we'll be going no faster than a running pace, this worked out OK. :littlebike1:

Brads turn to ride!
During the whole 4 hour Gig, we only stopped twice to eat & drink & to make sure the engine 'was' cool enough. 8)

It seems bizarre that we chose the Ultra instead of the smaller Sportster to do this but the Ultra has a much safer seat which made this incident Free....

I'm wondering just how many kids will decide to take up motorcycling now or later, just because of their ride with us?
Sure does give ya a warm & Fuzzy feeling seeing all those smiles on all those little faces! :D

Alan,

If "Oz" is anything like the US, you can be proud that you were chosen to safely provide entertainment to the small ones. I hope they all will remember their ride with Ozzy for a long time - at least long enough to take them to the riding age.

Kudos for participating in that event. As a father of three, all under 6 years - you have my respect. :notworthy:
