Well, day one is finished. Long day, and very hot. No rain though so that was good. About 1/2 the day on the range going through the drills. The more we road the easier it got. One funny thing - there were 3 women in our class - on of them was a local cop (not a motorcycle cop). One of our instructors was real old school ex military. He was very to the point if you know what I mean. The cop left at lunch and was basically very unhappy with him. She didn't come back. He tended to yell but I appreciated it because it got your attention pretty quick and I realized it was for my own good. Not a place to be if you carry your heart on your shoulder. Oh, well ready for day 2. Hope the rain stays away....

Hey man, I'm right there with you...although it did rain on us for about 15-20 min. We also had a drop out....but the instructors were the least of her problems. Can't wait for tomorrow, even though I think it's going to get harder.

Ya thats what our instructors told us. They said the cones would pretty much be brought in twice as close. The main thing that troubled me early was slow maneuvering. It got easy as I made myself stop overreacting and jerking the handle bars....
