Newbie restoring a Bike

Hey,
My name is Josh i recently purchased a 1982 Honda CM450 C for $1175.00 . Bike was in good condition but needed some TLC so here is my journey to make her beautiful again.
Alittle about me:
I'm 23 and this is my first real motorcycle i've learned to dive it and I have no knowledge of how to do anything that I am doing for the most part I've researched and then tried what I thouht was Best. I'm sure i'll mess up plenty but hopefully in the end she will look brand new.
I will not be taking apart the bike to clean her up as i really have no Knowledge on how to do this. I am going to start about my trying to fix and clean what I can while only removing minimal parts (foot pegs ...etc.)
Hope you enjoy and please feel free to give me some input.
