my question is after i redeploy back to the states and ETS i'm going to be learning in Vegas and i know how crazy the traffic is already so my question to all of you is based on your all experience in busy traffic how long does it take to get use to it and also pertaining to the above feedback was that in busy traffic or not. again thanks for the feedback

I think that's a hard question to answer, then again I'm kind of philosophical. I believe you learn something new everyday, so I don't know exactly when I'd feel comfortable putting someone on the back of my bike.
If I had to guess I'd probably say after riding a whole season by myself and if I felt confident in my ability after the season.

Honestly I didn't take my first passenger until I was 2800 miles into my first bike... I think you should just become comfortable with everything before you do...
Also, yeah, according to my ex (who now lives in Vegas), the traffic is crazy, so get something smaller than a 600 but at least a 250, I'd vote 500
