Are there any sport bikes under a 150cc. I am only 15 and am only allowed to drive a motorcycle on the street under 150cc. I have seen the Aprilia RS 125 and was wondering if it was a good bike. Also does anyone know of any other bikes under 150cc.

Thanks

Unfortunaely the american market for low cc bikes really sucks and probably won't change until gas reaches $5.00 a gal. i understand that aprilla is a very good bike and may be your only choice unless you consider Tomas or some of the other highend "mo-peds" . There are also early 20th century replica motorized bicycles that resemble early road racers. You will probably be limited to around 45mph and some of these bikes can get very expensive. Motorized 4 stroke honda kits are very popular also for the schwinn copper and claim up to 45mph. sportbikes however are going to be hard to come by.

The 50cc 'learners' like this that I've seen aren't quite as large as a normal sport bike, but they're much larger than the new, hot 'mini motorcycles' that people seem to be putzing around all over with.

Honda has a 50cc bike like this, but they state that it's for 'track use only'.

That is not a pocket bike, it's a real bike. I read about it in a bike magazine.

You can go 2-up on a good 50. People in europe have it made when it comes to low cc bikes. The last one i owned was a fantic with a 21"front tire and an 18" rear with a 6 speed gear box.. Most americans would really be pissed if they knew what they could be getting over what's available here. Our mad quest for bigger and better sure hasn't helped. Like i said it's going to take $5.00 a gal gas before that changes.
