I am 51 years old and had bikes from a very young age until I went into the Military. I have not rode for about 30 years now until last June I purchased a 1998 Kawasaki 1500 Vroc with 893 miles on it. I now have put about 4K miles on it and man I wish I never stopped riding. Too bad it took me so long to get back in the saddle. I live in DFW Texas and plan to post my rides. I am not a ride hard, long, or fast type of rider and in some circles I would be considered a Poser but you know I do not care as I am having a lot of fun. I plan a trip to some caves in KY next spring and so far have been only taking day or weekend trips here in TX. I look forward learning more about good rides and sharing mine.

Welcome to the TMW Community.

Getting back into riding was probably the best thing to avert a mid life crisis.

I have some in the Journal Forum but here she is.

Here is one with ugly ole me. But she is beautiful to me.

Here is the gang, Jeff the second from the left just got into a bad off road 4 wheeler reck. In the hospital but looks promising. He lost his spleam. How ever you spell that. Prayers are always welcome.

I noticed that the img site listed for uploading pictures was having problems last night and is very slow today. If you leave the message up this AM after awhile they will load. I think they are still having some performance problems. That was not an issue at first so it is something I think they are working on as the site was down from time to time last night. Hopefully they will get it fixed.

There are several sites that you can use....image shack, photobucket, flickr. I can't remember the names of the others off hand....
