disposing of gas

#1 Unread post by upho366 »

so im gonna drain my tank, the gas in it is pretty old, and i really want to get it out of there... im sure that i now need to de-rust-isize the inside of my tank :(
ANYWAY my current question, is ... once i drain the gas from my tank... where do i put it? all i really have to put the gan in is old coke cans, and there is not much gas, so it would be like 1 or 2 cans worth, i justs cant figure out what i would do with it after it is out of my tank. please thow same suggestions at me.
currently fixing my bike: 1978 Honda Hawk CB400T, orange

if my bike still doesnt work well after, might get: 1985 Honda Sabre VF700S

I'm from San Francisco, CA

Put it in your cage's tank, or a friend's. It'll mix with the gas in that big ol' tank no problem.
Let me get this straight... it's one down and four up, right?

Around here you can take it to the place that collects your used oil or other toxic waste.

Or put it in your neighbors SUV, like Poppy said.
No Witnesses.... :shifty:

If you leave it in a bowl, next to where you do some welding, it'll evaporate off in no time at all

With the re-emergence of naked bikes, one day soon, real men will be able to bring their motors out of the false shadows of molded plastic and show their motors to the world without fear of ridicule or shame.
