Does anyone use GenMar risers?

I'm thinking about getting a set of these for my Ninja 250 and am wondering others opinion.
At about $100 a set they seem expensive, but if they really do help my posture they would be worth it. Right now, I lean forward just a little bit. But, I'd like to be in a more upright seated riding position.
Thanks!

I have the GenMar 1"up & 1-3/8" back risers on my SV650--I love them. They made it possible for me to ride for longer than half an hour. I'm much more upright and have far less weight on my hands. Worth every penny of that hundred bucks.

My wife put them on her Triumph Trophy. Trophy's a large bike, she's 5'6", and the GenMars let her reach the bars with her arms in a natural position. The GenMars are very well made, BTW.

My problem was numbing of the fingers after I bought my first GS500 in 99, I had already put about 230k miles on four 400-750 cc Hondas with very upright seating positions and had sore back and sore butt problems but no numb hand problems with them. The lean forward position of the GS cured the back and butt problems but brought on the numbing of the fingers after an hour of riding. The GenMars fixed the numb hands by taking some of my weight off the hands.
Put about 80k miles on that GS and when I bought the 02 GS I transferred the GenMars to it and put another 50k miles on them so I think they were worth the price. <G> Same GenMars Thumper put on her SV650, 1" up and 1 3/8" back, wouldn't leave home without them. Have done 400-500 mile days on the GSs with the risers.

I may be wrong here, but doesn't the ninja 250 use clip ons? And don't risers work for handlebars?

They make GenMars for both tubular handlebars and clip-ons, EX500:
GS500/SV500 risers:
SW-Motec makes both kinds too.

Thanks for all the advice on these. I think I'll get a set for my bike.
