New Football Helmet maybe = Better Motorcycle?

New Helmet Technology
You may need to have an online NY times subscription to read the whole thing.
Basically this helmet works the same as a 4 way nasal spray bottle or one of those squeezy thermoses. Supposedly it's been proven to absorb shock better than foam.

I don't know for sure, but I think someone on a different forum contacted the company, and they were not interested in pursuing the motorcycle end of things... seems a shame... would be nice to see some advances in lid technology.

He may not be interested but if it proves its able to better motorcycle helmets i'm sure the technology will make its way over. I like to doodle a lot, drawing new helmet designs is one of my favorite things to waste my time with
