hey guys
I had some problems with my tac she just decided to stop working
my fuel guage and all other instruments still work , I don't know if it is a fuse or if it even runs by fuses.
Help!!! she's a 1982 nighthawk if that helps any[/b]

Probably the drive gear down at the front wheel is striped/broben (cheap to replace) or the cable it's self.

One word of caution if you ever take off your gauges don't turn them upside down as the dampening oil may leak out and your needles will flutter and bounce all over the place afterwards. I read this info once and it happened to me on my 1982 Yamaha Seca 550(took off the gauges to clean out the spiderwebs)
