I wish I lived closer. Could you imagine the reaction you'd get riding that up to a harley dealer?

I know of four of them in my hometown. Two actually still run, one is tagged.

Other than as a collector item, you want a 1974 oil injected two-stroke Harley? WHY?

mainly the same reason I want damn near every other bike I see. plus its under a grand...and 2 strokes are peaky, which can be fun and dangerous.

Isn't that the Aermacchi, the Italian maker Harley bought to re-badge as Harleys and pad sales of smaller cc bikes in like the 60's?
It IS pretty nice, for what it is. Bet it's fun when it runs!
Darn near impossible to find parts, though.

to "fudge" around on? To confuse people? Why not? How often do you see a 2 smoker on the streets? How often can you say you have an Italian made Harley? It's neat and unique. I like that.
