Mystic Rhythms

"So many things I think about
When I look far away
Things I know - things I wonder
Things I'd like to say
The more we think we know about
The greater the unknown
We suspend our disbelief
And we are not alone --"
Rush, Mystic Rhythms (Power Windows, 1985)
The time has almost come. As I write this, there is only a little over 36 hours till I push that little red button on the right grip and roll away towards Alaska. Not going to be a long trip, only 6 days, but it's going to be fun anyway.
I've also changed my plans for the return trip. I was going to try to push it and try to get myself a BunBurner 2500k ride with another Saddlesore 1600k thrown in. That idea has been round filed. I'm now going to take a leisurely two days and ride down through central BC and enjoy the solitude and the scenery. This will also give me the necessary 'quiet time' to reflect on what I've done in my life and where I want to go with it.
Dean, I'm sure you'll understand what I mean with that last sentence. The rest of you can draw your own conclusions.
I'll post a few pics when I get back.
"It was an early morning yesterday
I was up before the dawn
And I really have enjoyed my stay
But I must be moving on"
Supertramp, Goodbye Stranger (Breakfast in America, 1979)
