lots of these in Japan. seen rubbers drive belts on bikes instead of chains too, like a HD/buell.

Actually, BMW DOES make bicycles. http://www.luxist.com/2008/03/25/bmw-bi ... ed-luxury/

But they also make belt driven motorcycles.
