Susuki big bore

Maybe someone can help me out here ?Looking at the big bore kits for a Susuki 1992 gsxr1127,very expensive ?Isn t it possible to use the pistons from a 1200 or 1250 Bandit,same stroke,the piston looks the same,Readily available and cheaper ?

You can bore it to take SUZUKI Bandit 1200 pistons. (which are forged, stronger than cast pistons)
The larger bore sizes probably need new cylinder liners and the crank cases bored out so it gets expensive fast. (would be cheaper to buy a newer bike than do mods-unless you can get machining done free and are a good engine builder)
The 1250 is a new engine (water cooled) so its probably not feasible to use those pistons.
