Salutations from Lincoln, NE

Hi all,
I am a newish rider (since Summer '06) and am the proud owner of Vermillion, a well loved and used 1982 Yamaha XS400 in dire need of a some cosmetic restoration. She may be fugly, but she runs like a dream and has yet to let me down when I was not at fault.
As I am new to the Midwest, any suggestions for good rides/rallies nearby would be welcome as the last one I attended (Redlodge, MT 2007) was a blast!
I am excited to be joining this community as I have been reading your posts for a bit now and you all seem like a great group. Hopefully I will be able to contribute something meaningful as well!
