Hello all.
My name is Scott, and I am the proud owner of a 2008 Yamaha R6. I opted for the silver one, and have had it for a week. I have not had a bike for a few years, and forgot how much I love riding. It's been cold here, and I just went out for a ride in 27 degree weather. That probably wouldn't be all that bad, but I just moved here from Hawaii. Any, the new R6 is pretty cool. I will be out tomorrow in the snow.

Welcome aboard and becareful in the snow if you have not been riding for awhile. I myself got back in to riding this year June '07 and I will not ride in snow. I know the desire is greater then the sense, but just becareful. When I started up riding again earlier this year I had the same feeling as you, I forgot how much I love riding. I am kicking myself in the arse for not getting back to it sooner.
