Can anyone help me in finding a new front seat for my '02 Suzuki Marauder VZ800. I found a bunch, but don't have a lot of money. Any good deals out there?

Did you lose your seat or is the cover torn? Most automotive upholstery shops can recover your seat, along with shaving foam off or adding more foam for comfort, depending on what you require.

nah I still have it, I'm just curious if its cheaper to find a used one than to redo it.

A lot of motorcycle "Wreckers" are selling used just below new prices...

Yea man look into people who can simply re-upholster it for you. It's not the hardest thing in the world to do...my old katana had it's seat re-wrapped with a cut up leather jacket, down the middle of the seat was the "T" shaped seam you'd see on the back of a leather jacket. The old owner simply stretched the fabric over the seat then stapled it to the bottom of the plastic seat frame...simple...a bit ghetto...but it looked/felt good.

So yea, new seats are expensive, I would look into places that do upsholstery work if you don't wanna spend top dollar.

Speaking of using weird source materials, I cut up a cheap curtain to recover my seat. The color and material were perfect, and it looks and works like a charm.
