95 Shadow 750

#1 Unread post by zarakand »

Woo hoo! A good friend of mine just purchased this for $1750, and we think it was a steal! We rode out to Calumet City last night (45mi) to take a look at it, cause it just looked too good to be true. It has 7300 on it, title in hand, the guy had all the service records, just had a tune up with chain replaced under a month ago, and is the orginal owner. He also threw in the service manual and a helmet for that price.

We both took it out for a test ride and the thing was in perfect condition. When me met him he was just coming back from a ride, so that's always a good sign. On the ride home it was perfect. Hopefully in a week we won't find out we got swindled..but it seems as though he didn't realize the value of it. I'll get some pictures up as soon as I get home. The bike also has a nice custom flame job on it. I'm so excited now he won't cop of out long road trips cause of the GSXR 600. Whooo hoo!

Wow - that's a good price - I'd have bought it for sure. Good for your friend. Even if you do run into some small problems - you saved enough money to fix plenty of things. You didn't say anything about the title? did he have one?

That's a total steal on that bike, man! :D Good job. Too bad I wasn't around, or maybe it'd be mine. ;)

I'm very lazy when it comes to doing stuff on the computer! Here are some pics of the bike, and now the three bikes that fill my garage. The neighbours think all 3 belong to me...I encourage the belief. After all have to have the right color bike to match my outfit

Wow, that is one extremely nice bike. Even has flames!!!
Your story reminds me of how I got my bike. Magna 700, 7500 miles, for $1800. Nothing wrong with it yet, so your friend's better not end up with any problems either!
