150cc chopper opinions?

#1 Unread post by kennydude »

Hey guys
just wondering if you guys would consider this being a valid idea
http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicle ... dZ35478051

i already have a suzuki c50 - but i mean, this thing looks so pretty hehe. Its pretty low power but id assume you can motor around the streets in a city with it just to toy around.

you guys ever consider something like this? you think its a waste? meh, just thought id ask :) thanks!

Reasonably certain that's like those minibikes and not street legal. Show piece only, I wouldn't waste my $$$.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

when I looked at it, the only thing that went thru my head was "Why?".

Save your pennies and get a real bike. That's just a wanker job done on the cheap.
Always ask why.

Don't know why it wouldn't be street legal, it has lights and fenders on it and a bigger engine than the Kawi Eliminator 125. The Eliminater would certainly handle better around town or any where else. Wouldn't hit the interstate with it though.

Dependability, maintenance, parts and/or service would be the biggest problem with something like that "thing"

I'm really not a chopper fan of any engine size.

I bet its a lot smaller than it looks. Its probably pocket bike size and you would look like a clown driving it around town.

There was an ebay store outta BC that sold those brand new for roughly half what he's asking(including freight shipping in Canada). They sold alot of Giovani quads and 125cc dirt bikes too. Not sure if they're still around but it would be worth doing a quick search on ebay. I can't remember what the store name was.

Thats also incredibly low, I think you'd need to pick it up and carry it over any speed bumps (assuming you have those state-side)
