A little more Rumble, a little less quiet??

I love my VTX 1300. The only thing I would want to change is the sound. First and main reason is I want the cager who is on the phone with the windows up and the stereo on to hear that I'm right next to them. The other is that I just want it to sound more....... well more. What to do without tossing out a ton of $$$$$$. Ive heard that replacing the baffles can help, Ive also heard talk of drilling holes in my exsisting baffles,I have to admit to being a bit nervous doing that. Got any suggestions?
