No power to pump?

#1 Unread post by Razz11 »

Hey guys we tested the pump on my bike and it works wonderful, but it is just not getting power. Is there any easier way to test relays than just replacing each one until it works? I have also heard it could be the ground box between the tank and CDI unit? Anything helps. Thanks!

what kind of bike do you have? many newer bikes have safety devices which will not allow the fuel pump to power up. Things such as angle sensors, kick stand sensor, clutch sensor....any of these things can cause you a problem.
I built a custom VTX1800 and it was a nightmare with all its safety devices.....

Get a wiring diagram and a volt/ohm meter.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.
