Can someone tell me how to get to the battery on a 2005 Yamaha V-Star 650 Classic? Somehow I discharged the battery and cant get it started again.

Sorry for such a newbee question.

it should be on the right side of the bike (as you're sitting on it) behind the little plastic cover. you'll need an allen wrench to take the cover off. after that, it's unhooking the rubber strap thingie that holds it in and out she comes.
