Skunk has never smelt so good before...

At least not on the back of the bike. The 650R was cleaned and reg'd and ridden for the first time in months! Oh my how I missed that thing. I was laughing like an idiot half the time I was on it. Only went 30 miles though, 51 degrees gets cold at 50 mph. That and my back started to tweak out :|

Though there's a problem, now that I have a quick car, my Ninja feels... Slow. I know it's not, I was wringing the throttle out thinking "man, this thing feels slo--ohmygod I'm doing 70 into this corner!" but it just doesn't have the same feel of grunt the car does. I think it's time for an upgrade, or a change of bike style.

Wow, I had the opposite feeling. I was so glad to get on the bike, it moved so much smoother then the clunk a$$ car I was driving. Accelerated better, everything! But then again my car is prob a piece of tin compared to yours

What does skunks have to do with you thinking a 650R is slow???

everything. Not really. Skunk smells good when it's not filtered through a car's air system is all. Everything seems to come alive when you're on a bike, more than it can in any car.

Though I think it may be getting time for new tires :frusty:

Ninja,

How I envy you your neighourhood!

I have a Saab turbo and a Kwaki but here in my part of the UK there's no place to enjoy them outside a track day. Last week I picked up a speeding fine and three points for doing 40mph in a 30mph on a country road. Just didn't spot the sign.

The Kwaki doesn't come alive at 30mph, and neither do I.

Maybe the alternative is skunk and a Sony Playstation, but it's just not the same.

C.
