The weather is starting to break here in the Mountains of Pa. No more snow and ice on the ground. This Saturday is it suppose to be close to 50 deg. I put the battery back in the bike tonight. Had it stored in the shed all winter. She actually fired up. it took a couple times but she did. I ran her for a bit to get everything lubed. If the weather holds out an Sat I WILL take her out!!!!!! Can't wait.

Well I have been riding for a couple weeks now here in Edmonton, Alberta... We have been hovering around the zero mark =/- 5 degrees Celsius...
Officially took my first ride in sub-zero conditions 2 days ago...
Lots of gravel, lots of potholes, and some wet here and there on the road....
And especially a lot of unsuspecting cagers, had 2 cars pull out on a right turn in front of me so far, had to buzz them very closely on their drivers side to survive....

It has been warm enough her in Colorado to commute for the last couple days. The end of my drive is 5 miles of nice tight twisties :) What a way to wake up before you get to work

Have fun on your ride this weekend!!!

It's almost always plenty warm enough to ride to work in CO! (Even though I did only live 2 miles away... lol)
You work up at NORAD? That's nice riding country up there!

It must be terrible to have roads that disappear when it rains.

I can't think of any other reason why the rain would stop you. ;)

Back when I lived in Florida, the streets didn't have drains.

Every ride in a tropical thunderstorm. I got into one of these when I was riding in Central Mexico. The huge volume of rain hit the road so hard that it would splash back up, causing the road to disappear in what looked like 3 feet of fog. I was following some friends in a Suburban and could only see it from the back window up (of course, everyone was pointing and laughing out the back window). Didn't stop me, though. Since I was totally soaked through in the first minute, there wasn't any point in stopping.
