It's been in the 80's two days in a row, supposed to hit 90 tomorrow. The motorcyclists are coming out of hibernation. I rode without a shirt (still wearing my mesh jacket though!) for the first time since forever. Last week I would have frozen to death. WOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! ALL PRAISE THE MIGHTY GODS OF SUMMER!!!!
It's so nice to wear just the mesh, isn't it? It hasn't gotten quite that warm here yet, but I've been riding year-round, so anything above 45 feels warm to me. Glad you're enjoying yourself!
Cheers,
Loonette

Mesh? forgive me but I am not familiar with those, are they protective jackets? It was 89 here today and I was baking in my leather jacket , are mesh jackets good replacements to leather? How about pants? I wear FirstGear armored fabric overpants and they are hot too...

Leather will outperform mesh (a textile based gear with higher airflow), but mesh is often a more comfortable solution. If you can afford leather, and it doesn't bother you, that's the best way to go.

Telesque, I do have leather (FirstGear) but I was wondering what and how good mesh is; I just find that even though my leather jacket has plenty of vents it is still hot in a 80+ weather, especially at stop lights and was wondering if mesh is a good (acceptable) replacement for these really hot days.
