Hello, new to the forum and new to motorcycling. Mine is an '85 650 Nighthawk. I'm sure there are those who will tell me I should have started smaller, and maybe I should have, but it was in my price range, and close by, and I am getting very comfortable with it. Just kinda tooling around in my yard with it.

Will be taking my MSF course in a few weeks. Just got my learner's permit yesterday. The only other motorcycle I have ridden was a 125 dirt bike, so a street bike is quite a bit different. But, I'm taking it slow, and just spending time getting a feel for it.

Anyway, enough blathering, just wanted to say Hi from a new member in WV!!

Welcome to the forums!

There's lot of good info here, and lots of opinions. You don't even have to ask for them, and you get em. Also, the main site has some good reading and lot so pics for your collection.
