Helmets

I'm in the process of deciding what kind of helmet to purchase. I have pretty much decided on a full face but was wondering if there were any thoughts about brand and fibreglass vs poly carbonate. Welcome your thoughts.

I say go to the dealers and check helmet sizing, then order on the Internet.

First and foremost is fit. We could suggest a brand, but it may not fit your head.
Whatever helmet you end up with, make sure it is not just DOT, but a step above with a Schnell or ECE standard.
KBC, Shark, Arai, Shoei, Bell, Nolan, ...there are so many....

Get the helmet that has the best combination of fit, looks, and price.
The only thing the expensive helmets might get you is better ventilation and a washable liner.
The shell material really doesn't matter a bit.

(something like 4-5 years as opposed to a poly carbs 2-3 years - either way 1 impact voids the remainder of the lifespan on both though, which you should expect to happen)
I could however be very, very wrong, so please do some research rather than taking what I've written here as fact

The shell material is not the limiting factor in shelf life - the EPS foam is.
ABS and other plastics should not be damaged by sticker glue, either.
