i have been looking for engine guards for my 93 nighthawk and had no luck.any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried ebay? Swap meet? There are a few motorcycle swap meets coming up around here...possibly where you live also.
Craigslist?

I found 1 set on ebay, but the guy wanted a ton of money for them.
