Whats up everybody? New guy here.I got a new 2007 V-Star 1100 and I'm looking to get a more noticeable sound. Not something too loud but noticeable for sure.I would aslo like something that fits properly as well.I've heard their are a lot of exhaust systems out there that you have to fight to make fit properly.
Thanks in advance,
James

I've always been a fan of the sound Jardines produce.

Most people on Vstars swear by thier 2 into 1 Cobras. They love those things and coupled with a modified intake and rejetting, produce a nice power boost.
I've got Hard Krome strippers on mine -- sound great. Not the loudest thing out there. The guys I've ridden with who have the Cobras drown me out, as do a lot of harleys. But, it's throaty, I've set off a couple car alarms here & there.

My buddy has these on his 1100 and those things are deep and loud.
They are pretty cool sounding if you don't mind loud pipes.

I've got the hard krome 2 into 1 side burners and I love them. LOUD but quality sound. Definitely turns heads. Downfall is the price.

A buddy had some Hard Krome pipes on his Vulcan 1500 (1600?) and it sounded great. I think it was the only loud set of pipes I liked.
As far as I know they are discontinued, though.

the cobra pipes sound nice on the 1100's it seemed about every 1100 we sold last year we ended up rejetting it and putting a set of cobra pipes on. they're loud, but have nice tone
