I am so delighted to have found this website. There is so much information on it, and I can see already all the books I'll be buying!! Well the bug has bit again!! I never thought I'd go back to riding but here I am at the ripe ole age of 53 (I can't belive I wrote that) and the wheels are calling back to me. I rode for approximately 20 years - my last bike was a Honda 600 cc cruiser - just a beauty with full fairings, big tank, more like a racer in style. I was really sorry when I sold it. So, now I'm doing the looking game and it just boggles my mind with what's out there now. I probably won't buy this year, but I want to soak up as much information from all you people out there to help me find my next bike. I'm looking at getting a touring one this time, but there are lots of choices. Spring has finally sprung here. We broke the snow record where I live and there's still a bit of it around. But the bikers are out..as they should be. Nice to greet you all. Hope to hear back from some of you.

:welcome2: rosebob to TMW. :)

We set records here, too. I think we've had the coldest Spring ever.

Lots of bikes out here too.

There are plenty of us in your age group. You'll be in good company.

You've still got snow?? Aaargh!! I guess the benefit comes in August, when everyone here and points south are hating the heat.
Welcome to TMW from a newbie!

I think I missed summer and fall. It's winter here today. It is snowing in Vancouver on April 18. I think that may be a first.

Count your blessings if you have dry roads.
