I slightly bent my handlebars last year when I first started riding and had a driveway drop.
I would like to replace them with a set that sits a little higher and to the rear ( increase the pull back?)
Is this a major job?
how do I get the right HB's? for height and pullback

Changing the bars is pretty straight forward, removing the left grip is probably the hardest part, but it's hardly rocket surgery. It won't stop you from doing the job.

Choosing a replacement bend is more chancy. You could measure the bar you have and guess at what changes in those measurements you want. It works. Just use the base of the bar (where the clamps hold it to the triple clamp) as the starting point when measuring both new and old bars.

Or you could remove the old bar, drive to the bike shop and do side-by-side comparisons until you find what you want. This works best for me. Tactile input is hard to beat, eh.

It depends. If the new bars are significantly higher and farther back, then you'll probably have to replace some cables and do some rewiring. It's important that you don't have anything binding when you turn to bars from lock to lock. You'll have to do some careful estimating when you get the new bars. Always err on the side of excess cable length. It's a lot easier to deal with a bit of extra slack than to have cables without enough.
