Painting a Bike

Once I have completed my motorcycle course I will be seriously looking for my first bike. I am hoping to get something that will last me a few years and I know I can't afford new right now. From what I have seen of used bikes, most are in decent shape but some need a little cosmetic work. A bit of elbow grease will go a long way but what if it really needs a new coat of paint?

I have in the past painted a friends Honda civic with 14 different colours of spray paint but I don't want my friends anywhere near my new ride with a spray bomb. ''

Question is, How much am I looking at to get a used bike painted? Don't need 12 coats of hand rubbed colour, just a good paint job.

Any ideas?

Depends on where you go. You can spend anywhere between 500.00 and 5,000.00. You would have to call around to get estimates.

Spray Paint works. Just take your time, and use automotive grade.



I did that with a spray bomb, if you mask better and take a bit more time, should look fine.
