and i have over 20,000 miles under my belt

Welcome! You are a very lucky man. Very lucky. You are the owner of one clean example of one of the finest bikes ever built.

And that is of course that valiant little 400. For God's sake, never sell it. Unless you sell it to me. I'd take good care of it. I have experience with these bikes. (look at the thread called "nutter" in this intro page).

I suppose you can ride year round with impunity where you are- no four layers of clothes, 6 socks and stuff?

You mention 20k. Done any long trips?
