Just got back into riding in 07 after being idle for number of years.
Just couldn't get back into it after being hit by a driver who ran a stop sign.
Finally after visiting the dealer for some time, I purchased a 1300 Yamaha Tourer and joined a Star Chapter close to where I live. Makes it nicer riding with others. The wife also has taken a liking to it. Well, that about brings you up to date. Hope to do more posting soon.

Welcome to TMW. :)

Enjoy the forums.

Which colour 1300 did you choose?

I chose the red. I added a mustang seat and tank bib. Im thinking about getting the Fleetliner Saddlebags by Corbin. One thing that could stop me is the cost. Way to much. I will take some pictures in the next day or two and post them.

Great....we look forward to the pictures.

The saddlebags that come with the touring model are nice? Why would you want to change them?

 :welcome4: ms325 to TMW from TEXAS. A 1300 is a great bike. I ride a V-Star 650 and love it. Enjoy the forums and riding with your group.

I didn't have pictures of the bike after I added the tank bib and seat so I took a couple of it today. The leather on the bags wrinkle when the bike hasn't been out in the sun as you can see. After being out in the sun for awhile they stretch tight. I can live with that, not a big deal to me.
That is not the reason for wanting the Corbin bags. I just prefer the look of the Corbins bags to the stock bags and the extra room they have. 8)

:welcome4: to TMW from Columbus!

That is a very nice bike. I've always wondered--does the tank bra do anything or is it just for looks?

Sorry to hear about that previous collision, but glad to know you're getting back to the ride. Congrats!
