LED Strips, but how...

I think these LED strips are awesome -if you have to do a lot of night riding on the conspicuity angle - you would be covered.

I saw (briefly) in my look at the Ninja 250 MOM, that there are electrical supplies on the bike for accessories. It looks like they are always powered, so I'd have to put in my own switch (this is no big deal),but does anyone know what connectors go in to the lines already i place on the bike? Is this a Radio Shack thing or is it a you need to buy parts here... kind of thing.

I'm not sure if the ninja 250 has any accessories plugs. You could always tap a relay into your taillight wire so your LED's are only on when the bike is on or in park and source the power through a fused connection connected directly to the battery.
Add another switch so you can turn them on and off while running and you're set.
However, I'm not sure about NJ but nonDOT approved lights are illegal while moving in Va and Md.

Interesting. I wasn't thinking about the lights from a DOT perspective. I was thinking of them more as a running lights kind of thing.
There are two sets of auxiliary wires, but they are 'always on' meaning that even when the bike is off they'll drain the battery. But the wires might be hard to access. Not sure yet. Probably not until I take the fairing off to look around will I know how difficult they are to use.
