Where is a good place to find an oil filter? I've tried calling the different auto places around and none of them carry filters for bikes. Is an online store the best place to look?

Thanks
Sherry

Try a bike shop that carries your brand of bike. Or you could try online, I imagine there are more than a few places that sell filters and such. I could never be arsed to bother with it, the waiting, the gougers who want to retire on the shipping costs from my one order.... I find it easier and safer to stop at the local dealer and get one. You also can rectify any mistakes or defects much easier and faster when your standing face to face with the guy who sold you the item, rather than playing e-mail tag with even the most reputable of companies.

Support your local bike shop, or soon you will have to buy everything, including the bike, online. Don't that sound like fun?

BIkeshop, or somthing like this place is good if your doing online. but for a filter. Id say just hit the dealer.

I get mine at Wal-Mart. It's about the only thing I buy there. They carry oil filters for most popular brands. About $5 each. I usually buy a half dozen at a time.
