2002 V Star 1100
2002 V Star 1100
I just bought this bike and was wondering if a high RPM vibration is normal? It seems to develope above 65 mph ( no tach)....Any Idea's? It's a great bike otherwise!
Thanks

No Vibration
That's kind of strange to me, I don't seem to have any vibration(s) issues with my 06 V-Star 1100... even when I'm getting on it. The 1100 reaches max tourque at only 2500 RPM which is very easy to do with the extremely low and tight gear ratio they have.

I think he means the one in the pic in his avatar. It looks like an oil pressure or temp gauge.dr_bar wrote:Are you talking about the large chrome disc under the gas tank between the cyclinders?02custominfl wrote:Starrider, what's the little guage or clock looking thing next to your rear cylinder?![]()

My Mistress is an '03 and it has a slight engine vibration type feeling around that speed, but it gets smoother around 70-80 mph. Mine is not stock though, it has cams etc.drcac wrote:I just bought this bike and was wondering if a high RPM vibration is normal? It seems to develope above 65 mph ( no tach)....Any Idea's?
