Old new rider
Old new rider
I'm a geezer (65), have never ridden but am taking motorcycle safety class this weekend. If I pass then of course I wonder about my first bike -- at my age the first one I get may be my last. Any other codgers out there with advice?

Welcome to the board. At 65 you're not a geezer. Even at 75 still not. What you are... is a soon to be motorcyclist. Enjoy and have fun with your MSF course.
My eldest student to date was a 75 year young lady. She finally got tired of being a pillion and wanted to ride for herself.
Anyhow, have fun. Be safe!

Thanks to all!
I really appreciate the comments, encouragement and suggestions. I didn't expect so much. Have a feeling I've found a great site and avocation, if I pass the safety class). So thanks to all of you.
